I finally got around to posting the pics I took at the first Drupal CommunitySession in Ghent.

We had a blast. The IBBT venue is really cool. It’s the head office of a university spin-off that’s specialized in broadband research. They get to play around with multitouch interfaces, mesh networks, Quake-based virtual office environments and much more. And they have a broadband connection you and I can only dream of. If we’re lucky.

Excluding a large majority of players for no apparent reason seems like a very bad idea. The focus of competition should be to enjoy the sport of it and the challenge of facing off against your peers, not simply winning or losing. This is a game, after all.
